Eligibility:
The loans offered to MBA students are generally intended for international students and subject to:

  • Have received an offer of admission from a university with an established Prodigy loan programme, for an applicable study programme
  • Be a foreign national and not habitually resident in the country where the school is located*. (In the U.S. this means the student cannot be a citizen or have permanent residency i.e. green card). One exception is that UK nationals and residence who are studying at a UK business school are eligible to apply for a loan with Prodigy
  • Pass our cross-border credit assessment. Prodigy Finance performs a credit assessment on every applicant. An applicant’s credit report must not show significant previous delinquencies on credit obligations
  • Pass a background check against Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) criteria

Loan Faqs:

  • There is generally a loan origination fee of between 2.5% – 3.5%.
  • Loan interest rates range between  6.5 – 10%.
  • Loan repayment grace period is generally graduation plus six months.
  • Loan payback periods are 7, 10, & 15 years, depending on length of study programme.
